This is an old street where the shops sold birds and flowers hence its name.
However we didn't see any of these shops as they have been torn down to make way for redevelopment.
But it was an interesting walk with lots to see.
Heavy traffic - pedestrians, motor scooters, bicycles - meant we had to watch traffic more than the surroundings.
But it was pretty safe as long as one doen't make sudden changes in direction. The cyclists and scooterists somehow avoid running down pedestrians this way.
Here's a big wide tricycle 'truck'.
Most traffic do keep to their side, which was on the right, as in the US.
Just walk along with us and enjoy the photos, or scroll to the bottom and click the link to get to the next page.
There were street side vendors along the road where the raised pavement still remained.
And you see this frequently - mahjong game on short legged tables and little chairs or stools.
This is a redevelopment to cash in on the growing tourist market.
Many such entrerprising people trying to talk you to buy something.
And finally (below) we found this one shop selling birds; on this Birds and Flowers Street.
