Here's the famous Gurney Drive hawker centre. The last time I was here with Wife, about 20 years ago, the hawkers were on the roadside along the seawall walkway, ie where the cars are now parked.
We had char kway teow, pasembur, asam laksa, and some others which I don't recall now, but I'll come back and include when I remember them.
It's not worth coming here for Penang food as locals will tell you.
