On to Suzhou. A long drive along endless miles of expressways which are all thickly planted on their centre dividers, with endless unbroken miles of green hedges, all neatly trimmed without a twig out of place. Like they were all trimmed yesterday. And no horticultural maintenance gangs in sight. How do they manage it? Simply unbelievable!
Each of us struck the bell thrice for good fortune and all that. Had to pay a fee of course!
