The Best Chendol; and Asam Laksa

Here we are at Lebuh or Leboh (both are shown on the street signs in the photo) Keng Kwee, a side street off the main street Penang Road, just before the Komtar or Kompleks Tunku Abdul Rahman which is that tall cylindrical building which you won't miss, where the BEST chendol is sold, at a hawker stall outside the corner coffee shop. It's the stall with the circular beach brolly, below.

There is another chendol stall (the one with the "square" brolly) on the opposite side of this little street; but that's not the one selling the BEST chendol.

In any case, you can order from either one if you wish to rest in the coffee shop, or eat in this coffee shop, anything from any other stall inside or outside the shop.

And you should too. The asam laksa stall inside the coffee shop sells Penang's BEST asam laksa. Cheap and very good; must have two bowls.
