One step at a time

Here's a couple going downhill. But click on photo and you can see more climbers going uphill on paths at different levels.

I just so like that yellow edged signboard which says "Top of Mt Fuji". Wonder why it was so signed.




Taking all these photographs to record our climb had another very useful purpose. Gave us many opportunities to REST!

This is a crawler bulldozer with front scoop modified to carry supplies, fuel, food and water to the many huts along the climbing trails. The driver's cabin has also been enlarged for this purpose.

Look down below at the many poor climbers who will get more tired just climbing up to where we were taking this photo. It took us 21 minutes to climb from there, the Sixth Station. And you guessed it, another rest break.
