A very clean and comfortable hotel with everything except internet service.

Note that there is no centre divider on this major road. For the simple reason that motorists may make a U-turn easily. No, it's not dangerous to them or other road users. One thing I must say, is that the drivers in China are very good; and despite what you may perceive or see, they are very courteous and considerate. Like, they do not speed up on seeing another make a U-turn. Live and let live.

Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians may seem to be haphazardly using the roads. Motorists do not always stop for red lights, do not stop at pedestrian crossings even when pedestrians are crossing and lane changing without signalling is normal. It's all very efficient use of the road without wasting anyone else's time. Why stop if no one is crossing? No need to speed up; if the other is already switching lanes, well then, just let him complete doing it. I didn't hear any screeching of brakes nor seen any major accidents.


You'll see lots of people carrying luggage bags every morning, going someplace else. Some even carry bulky stuff like thick blankets. Moving to other cities; for jobs; or for better jobs.
