It is vital to go around with a very good map. We had many maps of each district, town, city, prefecture etc. Kept getting confused. Forced to choose one and stick to it. And surprisingly, I felt lost without the chosen map even though I had the others on hand. One reason was that I had my notes, circles and scribbles on the chosen one.
This map is excellent so I've scanned it in huge. Click on it to get it bigger on full screen.
